LIBRARY
The Ankerite Library is one of the most extensive libraries in Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It caters not only to the college’s academic requirements, but also stocks leisure books and books of general awareness. It is fully computerized, houses about 10000 books and can accommodate about 100 students. The library subscribes to 15 journals in different subjects, 10 Periodicals / Magazines of general taste and 6 Newspapers. Internet facility is available for students & teachers in Portal Room. A Reference Section with a very good collection is situated at the First Floor for consultation.
LABORATORIES
The college has modern, well-equipped and efficiently managed laboratories for all the Ayurvedic, Pharmaceutical and Nursing courses offered – Machine Room, Central Instrument Room, Pharma Analysis lab, Pharma Chem Lab, Pharmaceutics Lab, General Pharmacy Lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharmacology Lab, Aseptic Room, Quality Testing Lab, Pathology lab, rash sastra lab, Anatomy lab, Stree & Prasuti Lab and so many labs.
SEMINAR ROOM
The seminar room serves as a venue for interactive seminars and discussions, committee meetings and career counselling sessions. The audio-visual facilities available make it the ideal space for film screening and workshops.
CANTEEN
The Ankerite College is the right place for food and some fun. It provides a variety of foods and beverages at reasonable rates. The canteen is spacious, clean and hygienic. The lawns outside add to the ambience.
CENTRAL COMPUTER LAB
The fully air-conditioned facility enables students to stay abreast of evolving trends in today’s world of information technology. Students are trained at this facility to hone their computer skills.
It has well equipped Language Lab with Microphone and Web-Cam.
GYMNASIUM
The college has a well-equipped, state of the art. Supervised gym facility for staff and students. It is equipped with treadmills, exercise benches and other weight training apparatus. Both Physical and Mental Health play an important role for the well being of an Individual. In tune with the objective of all round development of the students, the campus is equipped with an in-house gymnasium.
HOSTEL
The hostel is an integral part of the college family. The hostel adds a dimension of vigour and commitment to the academic and extra-curricular environment of the college.
MEDICAL FACILITIES
Students are advised to enrol themselves with the ANKERITE PUSHPA SHRI RAM HOSPITAL. The medial officer of the college is available for advice and consultation in cases, which require immediate and urgent attention. The college provides health care facility to the students by providing First-Aid and other basic facilities and when required the separate room is earmarked the said facility.
STUDENTS’ COMMON ROOMS
The college has separate common rooms for male and female students. These are well equipped for between-study hours, with television sets and indoor games. To facilitate our female students, the Campus has established a spacious and comfortable common room, which is in Geodesic Dome. This space has been designed to give female students a place to relax, study, have informal discussions in free time available. Daily newspapers, magazines, periodical and journals are available for leisure reading. Female students appreciate this facility a great deal.
